Update November, 2010 Palita has really proven herself in the milkpail this year. Her first freshening, 295 days in milk, 1051 lbs, 46 of protein and 68 of butterfat and as of November 14, she is still going strong.
In June 2009, Palita's breeders posted the following on an ND email list about Palita's dam:
"We just received notice today that one of our does was the #1 producer with AGS in 2008 on BOTH test plans (1 day and 305 day). 'ARMCH NC PromisedLand Beau-Nita 3*D'(AGS) 'GCH NC PromisedLand Beau-Nita 2*M E90' (ADGA)
Her production record was: 2.1 - 22¼" - 300 - 1534 - 68 - 4.4% - 60 - 3.9% Her high test day was 6.4 lbs. On the one day test program, she produced 5.4 lbs. (We use a one day test as our verification test) Not only can she milk, but she can show. To date, she has accumulated the following (AGS & ADGA combined total) wins:
6 X Grand Champion 20 X Best of Breed 22 X Best Udder of Breed 1 X Best Udder in Show (all breeds competing)
She LA'd last year at age 2.5 yrs with a score of E90 (VEEE),and this year, at age 3.3 yrs, she scored E91 (VEEE)."
