While we do usually sell out by year end, we still have some beautiful doelings for sale from this years freshenings. Many are from AR and champion does. All of our does are on milk test and our herd is tested regularly for CAE/CL/Johnnes/Brucellis/TB and have always tested negative.
We're just beginning our breeding line up for 2012 kiddings. We will be using the following bucks:
Breeding with yellow background indicates the doe has kidded.
Breeder reserves right to retain any kid(s).
Our kid pricing follows a general guideline of $350 for doe kids from a first freshener (unproven production) and $400 and up for doe kids from does that have achieved their dairy star and/or other performance recognition.
Please make your reservations early. No deposit is required until kids are born and your choice is confirmed available. willowmoonfarm@gmail.com 802-454-9916
WE STILL HAVE OPEN RESERVATIONS.
Breeding for Spring Kidding 2012
We add due date information as pregnancies are confirmed.
Pricing on kids from first fresheners is usually lower as we have not yet had an opportunity to see what the dams can do on the milkstand.
A word on bucks: We are extremely selective in the retention of male kids for buck material. We limit the bucklings retained as bucks to make certain that we are using only the best genetics possible in our breeding program and/or as an offer for sale to someone else. Bucks will only be selected from does with proven performance records either in the show ring and/or in the milk pail. We have some exceptional potentials for bucks, including bucks from does with Superior Genetics recognition, and will indicate that on the kidding schedule.

SENIOR DOES
Gnome Rock Farm Tabitha *D Photo couresty Cheryle Moore Smith
Tabitha is our most senior doe. She has a very nice udder, teat placement and excellent production. Unfortunately, she has not settled in the last 3 seasons so we're probablly not going to see any more kids from her. We keep trying though....every time she comes into heat she gets whoever she wants. We keep hoping. In the meantime, she will continue as an honored resident of Willow Moon Farm.

Very similar to her dam, Finesse is a small, stylish black doe with lots of white on her hindquarters. She has matured into a lovely, smoothly blended doe with excellent dairy character. She freshened with an udder very similar to that of her dam. It's well shaped, high and wide in the rear, with good medial and near ideal teat placement. 2007 All American 2 Year Old

Incredible mammary systems in this doe's pedigree and Beau-Nita herself is no slouch in the milk pail. In addition to her show record, she has a full sister, 1 maternal half sister, and 2 paternal half sisters who have earned GCH titles. She placed #1 in AGS Top Ten milkers for 2010.

Jam-Beau-Laya is a chocolate & tan swiss marked doe, with an irregular white girth belt, and some random white on her legs, tail, and poll. She also has a few small moon spots. Her dam was a very productive milkers, and Jam-Beau-Laya is following right in her footsteps. She has a very nice mammary system. She also has 3 paternal half sisters who have earned GCH titles. We're very excited to have one or two of her doe kids freshening in 2012.
Sunni received the SG designation added to her title. She is sister to Beau Nita and also has a great udder. Both of these girls have the nicest smoothest fore udder. She is a sweet productive girl. She is very dairy in character, LA E90, 2011
Baba Yaga was sold as a first freshener and we are thrilled to have her back here with us. She did well her first freshening and easily qualified for her *D. Her dam, Gnome Rock Farm Tabitha, carries some of the earliest Nigerian genetics...a real treasure, not to mention she has a beautiful, well attached udder and is a heavy producer.

Puzzle is yet another awesome doe with great production. Although she looks like a chocolate sundgau, she is actually a combination of two agouti locus patterns, the swiss marked pattern and buckskin. She is capable of producing both patterns in her kids. She also has frosted ears and muzzle. Puzzle has 1 full sister and 3 paternal half sisters who are GCH does. Puzzle's dam, Zinnia, earned 2 championship legs before her untimely death. Lonnie has an absolutely amazing udder and teat placement....not to mention nice large teats. She is absolutely a dream to hand milk. Lonnie's 2010 lactation was cut short by a severe illness caused, we believe, by a meningeal worm. Fortunately, after weeks of care, she had a full recovery and we're really looking forward to her performance in 2011 to see what she can really do. While she only milked for 118 days in 2010, she put 418 pounds of milk in the pail.

Calypso is absoutely a wonderful little doe. While she is very beautiful and has a very nice attachment, her teat placement needs to be improved, which Ram Beau should do quite nicely.
