Beef Suet Tallow
Beef suet tallow is one of the most nutrient-rich and prized forms of animal fat, rendered from the suetโthe firm, nutrient-dense fat that surrounds the kidneys and loins of the cow. Considered the highest quality fat on the animal, suet is naturally rich in nourishing fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins that help support healthy, resilient skin. Because its composition closely resembles our skinโs natural oils, tallow absorbs beautifully and helps replenish moisture without feeling heavy. We source our beef suet from a 3,000-acre regenerative farm where cattle are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, allowing them to graze as nature intended. Regenerative farming practices help build healthier soils, support biodiversity, and produce exceptionally high-quality tallow. We believe starting with the finest ingredients makes all the difference, which is why we choose beef suet tallow as the foundation of many of our skincare products.
Goats Milk
Every batch of goat milk in our soap comes straight from our own Mini Nubian herd here on the farm, milked and used raw, never pasteurized. Raw goat milk is naturally rich in vitamins A, D, and B6, along with essential fatty acids and triglycerides that add a creamy, moisturizing quality to soap that water-based recipes canโt match. It also contains lactic acid, a gentle alpha hydroxy acid that helps soften and lightly exfoliate skin, leaving it smoother without stripping it. Because pasteurization breaks down some of these natural enzymes and nutrients, we keep our milk raw so the soap retains as much of its original benefit as possible. Itโs one more way we bring the whole farm into every bar, not just an ingredient on a label.
Lard
Lard has been used in traditional skincare for generations and is often compared to emu oil because its fatty acid profile closely resembles our skinโs natural sebum. This unique compatibility allows it to absorb beautifully, helping support the skinโs moisture barrier while leaving skin feeling soft, nourished, and balanced. Rich in skin-loving fatty acids and naturally containing fat-soluble vitamins, lard is especially beneficial for dry or mature skin. In soap making, it creates a beautifully hard, long-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather that gently cleanses without stripping away the skinโs natural oils. We use lard from our own pasture-raised heritage pigs, giving us complete traceability from pasture to finished product. Its nourishing properties and luxurious feel make it one of our favorite ingredients for creating gentle, effective skincare rooted in tradition.
Egg Yolks
Pasture-raised egg yolks are one of natureโs most nutrient-dense skincare ingredients, packed with skin-loving vitamins A, D, E, and K, along with nourishing fatty acids, phospholipids, and antioxidants that help support a healthy, radiant complexion. Our egg yolks come from our own pasture-raised hens, where they spend their days foraging for grasses, seeds, and insects, producing richly colored yolks that reflect a diverse, natural diet. We gently preserve these nutrient-rich yolks to retain their beneficial properties before incorporating them into our Golden Yolk Serum. This luxurious serum is designed to help nourish the skin, support the skin barrier, and promote a soft, supple appearance. By using egg yolks from our own farm, weโre able to ensure complete traceability and exceptional qualityโfrom pasture to bottle.
